Faculty & Staff Permits

We offer several types of permits for Faculty and Staff to best suit your schedule and driving needs:

Regular Monthly Permit | Daily Parker Permit | Twilight and Custodial Permit


Regular Monthly Permits

Who is eligible:

  • Full Time Faculty and Staff
  • Part Time Faculty and Staff
  • Temporary employees employed directly by UO
  • Graduate Employees
    • Requires department head signature on paper applications

Permit is valid:

  • In all Faculty/Staff marked lots
    • In unmarked, non-reserved spaces in those lots

 Cost:

  • $40 monthly
  • Payable up front or by monthly payroll deduction
    • Note: We are unable to use payroll deduction for GEs, however charges may be placed on a University Billing account

How to Obtain:

  • Fill out permit form, email, fax or bring to Transportation Services
  • Permits ordered through the online form, by email, or by fax will be mailed to your home address
  • If you need a permit immediately, permit forms brought to the office can be processed over the counter 
  • You will be asked to present a valid UO ID card to receive your permit


Daily Parker Permit

The daily parker permit is a good option for those who only occasionally drive to campus. A small annual fee gets you a hangtag that works in conjunction with one-time use dashboard permits. If you drive to work seven times a month or fewer, this option is more cost effectve.

Who is eligible:

  • Full Time Faculty and Staff
  • Part Time Faculty and Staff
  • Temporary employees employed directly by UO
  • Graduate Employees

Permit is valid:

  • In all Faculty/Staff marked lots
    • In unmarked, non-reserved spaces in those lots
    • Only in conjunction with the yellow dashboard permit

Cost:

  • $26 annual hangtag
  • $5 per dashboard permit (one use each)
  • Payable up front. Not eligible for payroll deduction except during annual permit renewal.

How to Obtain:

  • Fill out permit form, email, fax or bring to Transportation Services
  • Permits may only be picked up at the Transportation Services office
  • You will be asked to present a valid UO ID card to receive your permit


Twilight and Custodial

Who is eligible:

  • Staff who work an alternative shift, between 3:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
  • Custodial permits are free to those working the swing shift per the SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement

Permit is valid:

  • In all Faculty/Staff marked lots
    • In unmarked, non-reserved spaces in those lots

Cost:

  • Consult your supervisor to determine if you qualify for a $0 permit.
  • If you do not qualify for a $0 permit, the Twilight permit is $13 monthly.
  • Payable up front or by monthly payroll deduction.

How to Obtain:

  • Fill out permit form, email, fax or bring to Transportation Services
  • Permits may only be picked up at the Transportation Services office
  • You will be asked to present a valid UO ID card to receive your permit
