Faculty & Staff Permits

We offer several types of permits for Faculty and Staff to best suit your schedule and driving needs:

Regular Monthly Permit | Day Permit | Custodial Permit

Regular Monthly Permits

Who is eligible:

  • Full Time Faculty and Staff
  • Part Time Faculty and Staff
  • Temporary employees employed directly by UO
  • Graduate Employees

Permit is valid:

  • In all Faculty/Staff marked lots
    • In unmarked, non-reserved spaces in those lots

 Cost:

  • $45 monthly, beginning September 1st
  • Payable by credit card or monthly payroll deduction
    • Note: We are unable to use payroll deduction for GEs, however charges may be placed on a University Billing account

How to obtain:

  • Order through online Parking Portal
  • Register all license plates of the vehicles you drive to campus

How to use permit in University garages:

  • Purchase a faculty/staff permit of at least 3 months in duration
  • Request garage access at time of purchase 
  • Register all vehicle license plates for license plate entry into garage
  • Register mobile phone number 

Tips for using garages:

  • Download FlashPark app and verify your license plates are registered
  • If license plate entry is not working, scan FlashPark App’s barcode or press OPEN GATE via Bluetooth 
  • Wait at the green kiosk until the gate arm opens then drive forward
  • Customer service assistance available by pushing the HELP button on the kiosk 
  • Prox cards no longer work in the 13th Avenue Garage 

Day Permit

The daily parker permit has been replaced with a day permit program. Available at a low daily rate, these permits can be ordered from the parking portal and are a good option for those only occasionally driving to campus.

Who is eligible:

  • Full Time Faculty and Staff
  • Part Time Faculty and Staff
  • Temporary employees employed directly by UO
  • Graduate Employees

Permit is valid:

  • In all Faculty/Staff marked lots
    • In unmarked, non-reserved spaces in those lots

Cost:

  • $5/day, beginning September 1st

How to Obtain:

  • Order and print through the Parking Portal
  • Register license plate of the vehicle you will be driving to campus

Custodial

Who is eligible:

  • Staff working the graveyard shift and approved to receive permit by supervisor
  • Custodial permits are free per the SEIU Collective Bargaining Agreement

Permit is valid:

  • In all Faculty/Staff marked lots during the times when overnight parking is not otherwise allowed 
    • In unmarked, non-reserved spaces in those lots

Cost:

  • Consult your supervisor to determine if you qualify for a $0 permit.

  • Register all license plates of the vehicles you drive to campus
