Reserved Parking

Employee Reserved Parking

Starting in Fall 2021, Transportation Services is implementing a zonal parking system. This system groups campus lots into zones and limits the number of permits sold in each zone to better manage demand in each zone. Many previous reserved space holders who needed a very high level of assurance that they would have space will find that a Zone A permit will fulfill this need without needing a specific space. Zone A is sold at a 1:1 ratio, meaning that permits are only sold to the limit of available spaces. Please consider a zonal permit in lieu of a reserved space this fall. If need be, a zonal permit can later be converted to a Reserved Space, subject to availability.

A limited number of paid reserved spaces are available to faculty and staff on a first come, first served basis.  Spaces are reserved only from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for $585 a term, which includes the price of a permit and a reserved space.  Select reserved spaces are available for $645 a term, which includes the price of the permit and a reserved space, for employees who require a space for 24-hours/7 days a week.  Reapplication for a reserved space is required each term.

The Reserved Space permit process has been streamlined and reserved spaces may now be requested through the Online Parking Portal, similar to other permits. If you would like to request a Reserved Space for the upcoming permit year, you may do so by following these steps:

  • Log into the Online Parking Portal
  • Purchase a Zone A or Zone B permit for the commuter zones where you desire your reserved space
  • After completing that purchase, refresh your account and click the “request a reserved space” option under “purchase permits”

*If your Reserved Space request is approved, we will reach out to coordinate the location of the space and with directions on how to pay the remaining Reserved Space fee.

Reserved Parking: Departmental

Most departments can accommodate visitor parking by using the new Guest Invite system, which allows departments to send a virtual permit invitation to a visitor and charge the cost to an Index. For more information on using the Guest Invite system or to setup a department account, send an email to transportation@uoregon.edu.

A department may request one or more reserved parking spaces annually for regular visitors, clients and guests coming from off-campus.  Spaces are reserved only from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, for a $195 monthly fee.  Select reserved spaces are available for a $215 monthly fee, for departments who require a space for 24-hours/7 days a week.  Reapplication for a reserved space is required annually. To request a department reserved space, send an email to transportation@uoregon.edu.
