Transportation Around Campus

There are many options for travel around campus or to nearby neighborhoods for lunch, meetings, trainings, and events. Human-powered transportation like walking or biking is environmentally friendly, a great way to get some exercise, and saves money. Learn more about walking and rolling on campus. UO employees also enjoy a discount on PeaceHealth bike share; these blue bikes are located at many hubs around campus.

Plan your Bus Commute

The Commute Tool shares only the direct bus lines to UO. If you are not on a direct bus line, a bus transfer may be a good option. Bus trip planning is available on LTD's website and through the free "Transit" App. Remember that you have a free UO bus pass for all LTD routes.

Find a Park & Ride 

Park & Rides are designated lots near bus stations where you can park your car for free while riding the bus. Drive to a Park & Ride, park your car, board the bus, and commute to UO without paying for parking on campus. See the the Park & Ride List to find a Park & Ride that works for you and remember to use your free UO bus pass.

Biking in Eugene/Springfield

UO has identified 11 bike routes in the Eugene-Springfield area that provide riders with a safe and comfortable riding experience through bike-centric infrastructure like shared-use paths, protected bikeways, and low-speed streets.
